Salt & Pepper

I came home from some traveling and went into the kitchen to use the salt and pepper shakers. Looks like someone was using them while making something that needed to be coated in flour:

An Interesting Use For My Magazine

I sat down on the couch to watch some TV (a rare occurrence) and was disgusted at the sight in front of me:

Gross Sponges

I'm not quite sure what function this sponge served just sitting on the counter, since it obviously wasn't used for wiping up the big coffee spill you can see in the photo. (Also. Gross! Time for a new sponge.)
